SB+C Architecture D.P.C. has supported the Wentworth Institute of Technology, a prestigious technical design and engineering university in Boston, Massachusetts in various forms for the past few years. Since 2013, an endowment has been built to provide scholarships to architecture students in need of financial aid.
The latest recipient of the SB+C scholarship fund was awarded at the end of 2020. In the words of Linda Werman, Director of University Events and Donor Relations:
“This scholarship opens the doors for students to follow their passions and pursue a degree that will enrich their lives.”
A fund such as this lifts the financial challenges that stand in the way of students’ future, thus enabling them to focus on their studies and reap the benefits of a transformative education experience.
SB+C Principal, Michael Santora, was profiled in the 2019 Wentworth Institute of Technology President’s Report as the youngest alumnus ever to endow a scholarship at the university. He is also a University Advisor advancing Wentworth’s Real Estate initiatives and currently overseeing several new construction projects on behalf of the University.
The fund reinforces Michael and SB+C’s commitment to discovering, diversifying and supporting new generations of architects and engineers with an entrepreneurial edge.
